Lately, I’ve been embracing a dressing theme that revolves around simplicity and ease. This approach means that while I do put in a thoughtful effort, the overall look remains effortlessly uncomplicated. It stays effective in its unique way. I find that I am not trying too hard, yet the outfit undeniably gets the job done. My mind has been all over the place since late October, so I don’t want to put too much energy into figuring out how to put a style together each day. Instead, I just need everything to come together seamlessly so I can get going.

This outfit and its variations have truly worked wonders for me lately. With the temperatures dropping, a blazer has become an essential piece for me. This particular one features linen, making it still breathable for me even when wearing heavier coats on top. I love the jeans from Universal Standard; they were having a promotion, and I managed to snag them for free, which is always a bonus! These are, without a doubt, the most comfortable jeans I own.

november is that funny little month when we're still holding on to fall, but the holiday season is already knocking on the door. one minute we're grabbing coffee in a cozy sweater, and the next we're wondering what on earth we're going to wear to thanksgiving dinner, friendsgiving, or that first holiday get-together.

I love a good costume moment, but I don't always love the idea of buying an entire outfit that I'm probably only going to wear once. And honestly?
