WINTER FAVORITES: HATS.
You know how much I love a good hat. A quick search of the word on the site & you’ll find a plethora of blog posts all about them.
You also remember I used to work at a hat shop until they fired me for no reason in 2019. Nowadays I’ve been shopping Gigi Pip & have even become a Brand Ambassador for the brand.
When it comes to styles, in the winter you will find me in beanies, berets & fedoras with the occasional baseball cap if it’s warm enough. An easy look on my IG & you’ll see all the styles I’m loving in reels. You wanna go for warm obviously so make sure your styles have wool, cashmere & cotton (thats layered) in them. You also wanna find styles that’ll make masking easy. I wear mine around my chin a lot during a day so I need a hat that can handle it coming on and off multiple times without messing up.
there's something about august in new york city that feels different.
the city is still buzzing, but the pace starts to slow just enough to notice. the sunsets come a little earlier, the humidity finally gives you a break (sometimes), and suddenly everyone is talking about fall—even though we're still wearing sandals.
i've always loved this in-between season because getting dressed becomes more creative. it's less about chasing every summer trend and more about mixing the pieces you've been loving all season with a few hints of what's coming next.
here's what's inspiring my wardrobe this august.
