What 6 Months on YouTube Has Taught Me.

Six months ago, I uploaded my very first video to YouTube. There was no viral moment, no grand strategy behind it—just me, a camera, and a quiet, simple decision to begin sharing pieces of my life with others.

I didn’t know exactly where it would lead — I just knew I wanted to take the leap and give it a try. Now, half a year into the journey, I’ve gained so much more knowledge and insight than I ever anticipated.

This isn’t just a tips-and-tricks post. It’s more like a heartfelt love letter—written to myself, to fellow small creators, and to anyone who’s ever felt the urge to give up but kept going anyway.

🎥 watch the full video here:

what no one tells you about the first 6 months:

  • the start is awkward, slow, and deeply humbling

  • you will question if anyone’s watching

  • you will grow — quietly, then suddenly

  • your voice matters, even when it’s small

  • and it’s okay to rest, but don’t quit just because it’s quiet

the biggest thing i’ve learned?
you don’t need to have it all figured out.
you just need to keep showing up with honesty, softness, and something to say.

for my fellow small creators:
this journey is valid, even if it’s not flashy.
your impact isn’t measured in views — it’s in connection, in community, in the courage to keep creating.

I’m not exactly where I want to be just yet, but I’m definitely on my way there. And if you’re building your path too — know that I see you. I’m genuinely rooting for you every step of the journey.

🕊️
thank you for being here. always.
