maybe ally…Finally Leaves the House.
pov: you're finally out of the house | ✨💫✨
Guess I should talk about where I've been right? Well let's start with the fact that I really wasn't taking care of myself this past month and I paid for it with a cold (that thankfully wasn't COVID) but then turned into a million other things which made recovery seem like it was in a distant future.
Allow me to be TMI for a bit. Common colds suck. They get worse when you still have your tonsils. Tonsillitis and a cold! Yikes. Then because I was blowing my nose too often and too hard bacteria got into my tear ducts and gave me pink eye. So imagine that. All three of those AT OUNCE. I struggled for NINE DAYS (and I still have a cough).
I think the higher beings needed me to really rest and I mean REST. I was forced to. I was doing way too much all at once. I learned a lot during this time. Mostly about patience. Rest when needed and get help. Thank God for family. I got so much help last week which helped me recover peacefully.
I'm not 100% yet but I'm damn close. I finally got outside. That's a start. That first cup of coffee was divine.

Turning 30 felt like it was supposed to come with answers.
At least, that's what I thought.
For so long, 30 seemed like this magical age where you were supposed to have everything figured out. You'd know who you were, what you wanted, who you wanted to spend your life with, what your career looked like, and probably have a beautifully decorated apartment and a retirement account while you were at it.
And then I actually turned 30.
Spoiler alert: I did not have everything figured out.
But I did have something arguably better: perspective.
