Happy Birthday to Me! + a Little Break.
If you’re reading this, that means I officially made it around the sun one more time — and I wanted to pop in here with a short birthday note, a few words of gratitude, and a small heads-up about what’s coming next.
I’m taking a mini break from the blog.
Nothing dramatic. Nothing sad. Just a pause.
This season of life has been asking me to slow down, celebrate what is, and give myself permission to rest without guilt. And honestly, what better time to do that than my birthday?
A Birthday Reflection
Birthdays always make me reflective in a way nothing else does. I start thinking about who I was a year ago, what I was worried about, what I was hoping for, and what quietly worked itself out along the way.
This past year has been full in ways I couldn’t have planned — creative risks, cozy routines, growing pains, small joys, big feelings, and a deeper understanding of what I want my days (and my work) to feel like.
More than anything, I’ve learned that rest is productive, joy is worth protecting, and consistency doesn’t mean never taking a break — it means knowing when one is needed.
What This Break Looks Like
I’ll be stepping back from writing new blog posts for a short while. No strict timeline, no pressure — just space to breathe, reset, and let inspiration come back naturally.
That said, I’m not disappearing.
If you’re craving cozy NYC content, intentional living chats, or something comforting to have on in the background, I’ve got you covered.
What You Can Watch While I’m Away
Here are a few YouTube videos you can spend time with while I’m on my mini break — whether you’re folding laundry, making coffee, or just needing a familiar voice.

Thank You (Always)
I don’t take it lightly that you choose to spend time here — reading my words, watching my videos, supporting my work, and rooting for me from wherever you are. Your presence means more than I can fully express.
This birthday feels less about getting older and more about feeling grounded, more about settling into myself. It’s less about doing more and more about honoring what already exists and cherishing the quiet, meaningful pieces of life.
Thank you for letting me take this pause. Thank you for being here. Thank you for growing with me and for allowing me the space to grow alongside you.
I’ll be back soon — rested, inspired, and ready for whatever this next chapter brings, excited to share what’s ahead.
Until then,
thank you for being here. always.

so i just have to talk about the latest drop that’s everywhere and honestly it’s giving all the cozy, comfort-filled vibes i’ve been craving lately. gap teamed up with beauty brand Summer Fridays for a first-ever apparel collection that feels like it was made for slow mornings, quiet nights in, and really leaning into your self-care moments out loud. the pieces look thoughtfully designed, soft, and easy to live in — the kind you reach for on repeat, whether you’re layering up for a relaxed day at home or heading out for a low-key coffee run. you can see the full range right here on gap’s site.
