maybe ally sees…Luna Luna.
We recently had the incredible opportunity to experience the mesmerizing world of #LunaLuna at The Shed in NYC, and it truly left a lasting impression on both of us! This immersive art installation is an absolute MUST-SEE for anyone who deeply appreciates the beauty of art, music, and the enriching journey of self-discovery. The vibrant colors, interactive exhibits, and dreamlike atmosphere captivated me entirely from the moment I stepped inside until the last minute. With works inspired by iconic artists like Dali, Haring, Basquiat, and many others, you are certainly in for a delightful treat featuring one-of-a-kind pieces that may never be seen again in the same way.
It was a remarkable experience to witness such groundbreaking creations from some of the most influential artists of our lifetime. Even more astonishing was learning that someone had stumbled upon these extraordinary rides tucked away in storage, only to have seen the light of day for a brief yet unforgettable summer in Germany!
The incredible effort to meticulously restore these remarkable art pieces and thoughtfully put them on display for everyone to enjoy was truly inspiring and deeply moving. Being there felt like we were immersed in a vibrant, joyful carnival; it’s aptly named the first art amusement park. I have no doubt the enthusiastic folks in Germany in 1987 would wholeheartedly agree with this wonderful sentiment.
Overall, I would confidently rate this unforgettable experience a solid 10/10—no notes needed, as it left a lasting impression that will remain with me for years to come!
Don’t miss your chance to step into this fantastical world! it’s open until February at @theshedny
If June feels like the start of summer, July is summer.
The city is hot, busy, loud, exciting, and somehow still magical.
It's rooftop cocktails after work. It's iced coffee melting before you finish it. It's staying out until 10 pm because the sky still has color in it.
July in New York is all about experiencing the city outdoors. So if you're looking for the best things to do, see, and experience this month, here's your guide.
