What’s In A Name?
You noticed it. I’m sure you did. The name change. The blog changed. EVERYTHING changes. I’ve wanted to change my name for two years. For two years I debated it. Ask Armand he will tell you. I have long been free of the word “magic” and for a while there sure I took the girl loves magic to mean loving anything whimsical and free. It didn't feel right. It didn't feel like me.
➳♡ | When my mom passed I realized quickly that I'd better get to the things I wanted to do, that I love to do before the opportunity passed me by. You truly never know the kind of time and so why am I waiting? Why am I afraid? I've got nothing to lose and if I do, it's nothing I can't get back. So. I changed it all.
Those of you who are subscribed to my newsletter I thank you for waiting for me. That could not have been easy to choose to stay when I wasn't posting or writing when crying and anger were the preferred emotions. This morning you got a special email in your inbox. I hope you checked it. To those who would like to subscribe I have a bunch of links in my bio. Feel free. I never push that. As always you get my fullest self there. So If you've ever wanted to know more about me. That's where you want to be.
So what's in a name? Nothing. It's just a name. It's a small tiny part of this grand life I'm living. There is so much out there that's more important. There's a bigger picture here and I've been exploring that this year. I’ve been taking you on the ride now it's just a little more clear. ➳♥︎✴︎☽☼⋅
I owe you all the world for staying. Thank you.
Let's do this new chapter together ok?

If you've been watching my YouTube channel lately, you've probably noticed something has shifted.
The videos feel a little more intentional. The stories feel a little more personal. Instead of trying to create the "perfect" vlog, I've been creating videos that feel like little chapters of my life—and that's exactly what Maybe Ally was always supposed to be.
For a long time, I felt like I had to fit into what everyone else on YouTube was doing. Bigger productions. Faster edits. Constant trends. But the more I chased what worked for other people, the further I got from making videos that actually felt like me.
So I decided to stop.
