maybe ally…Spends A Day in Philly.
What can I say? Philly is always so good to us. Whether it’s a wrestling show, a museum exhibition or to party a little too hard Philly always treats me well. This time around we were in town for Harry Potter: The Exhibition which you already know all about (see previous posts) but we found so much more.
We checked out of our hotel at 11 am and our train didn’t leave until 3:30 pm leaving a whole lotta time to explore. Our favorite area to do that? South Street! Love walking in that area and seeing all the retro shops, and vintage clothing shops mixed with coffee shops and diners. It’s always so lively and full of amazing artwork too.
Can’t wait to get back but hopefully for longer. I got many people to see and many bars to drink at. Never a bad time when we are there. Hope to keep traveling this year as carefully as possible of course. Stay tuned.
There are some trips that feel like vacations, and then there are trips that feel like chapters.
My July trip to California definitely felt like a chapter.
After spending the first part of our vacation in Las Vegas, we packed up and made our way to Los Angeles for the second half of the adventure. And while Vegas had its own very particular kind of energy, Los Angeles felt completely different. There was more space to wander, more neighborhoods to explore, more food to eat (always important), and that very specific California feeling that makes you want to slow down and take everything in.
