I adored the incredible food that seemed to burst with flavor, enticing my taste buds with every single delectable bite that I took. I fell head over heels in love with the rich and diverse culture that permeates every corner of the city like an inviting and melodious tune. I loved it so much that when Armand and I had the chance to revisit, we excitedly decided to go again without a second thought.

What can I say? Nashville filled my soul.

I’d debated this trip the entire summer. I’m glad I was able to figure it out. Nashville gave me food for the soul (my belly too!). The people, the food, the live music — it all fed my soul in ways I can't explain. I've had a rough year and while I traveled it was travel not for myself per se. I always had something to do. I came here with no real plan. I had to put the organizer down and just try to go with the flow. It led my feet all over Nashville. What an experience. I'll never forget it.

Las Vegas! After two years she returns! This time for more relaxing than ever before. Funny because you don’t normally go here for that! & yet I did! I had a wonderful time until Delta almost ruined that (more on that later!)

So what's a girl to do when she accidentally gets tickets to a show that's not in her city? She goes to Philly! With her partner in crime for not only that show but amazing art, great food, and more stories to tell in the future.

I loved the people. I loved the food. I loved the culture. I loved the spirit. New Orleans gave me the kind of respite I've been lacking since my mother passed away. A real refresh and focus on life. I got to not think about my troubles for just a little while and I got to embrace love, kindness, and beignets!

St. Louis was a mini break that I really needed to be honest. Often, I get lost in Skyscrapers and the lore of New York City. It was nice to get away into Americana. The smaller cities of the United States. The cities not known by buildings but by the food and their people.

Well, it was really night one. I got in at 5pm and had 2 hours to find a pharmacy, grab some essentials, check into my hotel, shower, & get dressed for a show. The show you ask. MJ The Musical! It was playing at the Nederlander Theatre, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see it while in town.

Once again Philly brought us joy, good food & a good time. It’s always a short but good time here.

It felt like home, to be honest—3 years of waiting to get to a Disney park again. The last one I was in was out of the U.S. and Japan. Maybe that’s my new thing? Whatever it is May always involves a little magic & lots of travel.
