When my mom passed away it all of a sudden became a journey of discovery. What life is like without her. What decisions I make from here on in aren't guided by her wealth of knowledge.

“This is so fun!” I kept repeating to myself as I sat in the Dress Circle at the Hudson Theatre to see this lively show. I missed my shot at NYCC Encores! and when I found out it would be transferring to Broadway I grabbed a ticket as soon as I could.

One Year later.
I can't believe it has been a whole year since I made one of the best decisions of my life. In August of last year while Armand was away on a trip I walked into my gynecologist's office and got an IUD inserted. If you've been here for a while you know I didn't take that decision lightly. It took me three years to get to that appointment after listening to many horror stories and having other forms of birth control fail my body.

It took me an entire week to figure out what I wanted to say here. I kept hearing about JOB as far back as May when I found out it would transfer to Broadway. In conversation with a few friends who’ve seen it, they would say little more than it’s about a woman in tech on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Travel: Las Vegas (2.0)
Las Vegas! After two years she returns! This time for more relaxing than ever before. Funny because you don’t normally go here for that! & yet I did! I had a wonderful time until Delta almost ruined that (more on that later!)
New Pieces from Stoney Clover Lane.
As always I had a wonderful time at the Stoney Clover lane location in the West Village! It’s one of my favorite stores and everyone there is always so kind and so wonderful. SCL released a Tomato collection recently and I had to get in on it thanks to it’s awesome marketing and NYC Themes. What I found interesting was the history I admittedly didn't know especially about the Mohawk who were prominent in the construction of this building. They were famed for their skywalking which helped get the building sky-high faster. Its a nice history lesson. I enjoyed that a lot as a person who loves to dig into history once she learns something new.

All Black Everything.
Promise you this outfit was put together weeks ago when it wasn't a hellscape outside! What can I say? I’m a true New Yorker. Neutrals are the name of the game and black is a staple not just an option. It was hot enough to try my lace top finally. I've been trying to figure out how to wear it and finally opted for all-black.
Prepping for Vegas.
Ummmm. Who here has checked the weather in Las Vegas lately? They recently had a record breaking day in 120* last week and by the time I get there i’m looking at 106* on average. So what’s a girl to do?
MidSize Shopping: Brands I'm Wearing Lately.
To be a size 12-14 is so challenging at times. I’m a Large in one store while I fit better in XL in others. I’ve gained some of my weight back from when I lost a ton 3 years ago so my sizing is really all over the place. I’m a solid 185lb right now and plan on loosing some as the end of the year approaches. If I could get to a 10-12 like I was in 2021 and maintain it I’m ok! This post isn’t about that though! It’s about where i’m shopping lately!
